Thank you for your interest in becoming
a school volunteer!
All “Designated Volunteers" are mandated to complete annual training required by the following RSAs; RSA 189:13(a); RSA 193:J(2); RSA 193:F(5); and RSA 189:13(a), XII.
The definition of a "Designated Volunteer" is defined in Policy: GBCD and includes any volunteer who regularly visits our schools or chaperones a field trip of any kind.
Volunteers who do not fall within the definition of a designated volunteer (e.g., volunteers for an occasional classroom party) only need to complete steps one and two outlined below.
All NEW designated volunteers must complete the steps below to be approved for the Windham School District.
-
Submit Volunteer Form
-
Background Check/Fingerprinting (NEW VOLUNTEERS ONLY)
-
Please complete the online training through Vector Systems. After submitting the volunteer form, the training login from Windham School District will automatically be sent to you (SAU #95). If you are still waiting to receive the login information within one week of submitting the form, please contact the Human Resources department at [email protected].
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOUR FINGERPRINTS HAVE ALREADY CLEARED, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO REPEAT THE FINGERPRINTING PROCESS.
If you are considering participating in a field trip, you must complete the steps outlined above.
For returning designated volunteers, you will receive an email regarding your Vector training thirty (30) days before your training is due and you will need to complete the training within the thirty (30) days in order to be able to continue as a designated volunteer.
If you are unsure if you are a designated volunteer or have any questions, please contact the Human Resources department at [email protected].
Our volunteers are a critical component to the success of our school district, and we appreciate and thank you for your time and commitment!
